Natur Lager – sustainable beer
The project Natur Lager is an example of an exciting collaboration between students, Studenterhuset, Nørrebro Brewery and Naturfonden (The Danish Nature Fund).
About the idea
Students from the University of Copehagen have made an organic lager. It’s brewed and tapped at Nørrebro Brewery. Sold at Studenterhuset. Bought by people who protect nature. For every sold liter of beer, the Danish Nature Fond buys 1 m 2 Danish nature and preserves it forever. Natur Lager was started by students and the first beer was sold at Studenterhuset on February 21st 2020.
The initiators wanted to support biodiversity and their solution was Natur Lager:
”We have worked on how to strenghten biodiversty in Denmark in cooperation with companies and nonprofits The result Natur Lager. We hope you will help us give a little back to nature.”
