Join us for the next STIMULUS event: ‘Towards a Climate-Neutral Denmark: Strategies for Achieving Sustainability’

Join us for this thought-provoking STIMULUS workshop that explores Denmark’s path to becoming climate neutral.

 

SPEAKERS
– Kirstine Lund Christiansen, PhD fellow, Section for Global Development, University of Copenhagen.
Kirstine will kick off the workshop by delving into carbon offsetting as one key strategy for achieving sustainability.

– Bo Jellesmark Thorsen, Dean at Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen and Vice Chairperson at Klimarådet.
Bo Jellesmark Thorsen will provide insights into Denmark’s national climate strategy. His talk will focus on the council’s perspectives on achieving climate neutrality, including the key policies, challenges, and opportunities shaping Denmark’s transition. He will also discuss the role of economic and regulatory instruments in driving sustainable change and ensuring an effective and fair green transition.

– Anna Hagemann Rise, Communications director of Nestlé Denmark.
Anna has more than 13 years of experience within communication and sustainability within the food and beverage industry with a specific focus on responsible sourcing.
Her talk will focus on how the world’s largest food producer will reach net zero and how regenerative agriculture will play a crucial role in achieving its goals.

 

We will wrap up the event with a short inspirational workshop from Green Step, to take your new insights into action.
