Upcycling Lab: Let’s redesign something together
April 23 @ 16:00 - 19:00
From forgotten to favorite: Redesign your clothes with Our SHIFT
Most of us care about sustainability, yet we all have that pile of clothes hiding in our closet: the shirt with a hole, the jeans that don’t fit quite right anymore, the hoodie we’ve simply fallen out of love with. But what if those forgotten pieces were not waste, but resources for creativity?
Upcycling Lab is a cosy, hands-on workshop where you bring an old clothing item and transform it into something with new life, new meaning and maybe even a bit of personality. You don’t need sewing skills or design experience- just curiosity, a willingness to experiment, and the joy of making something together with other students. This is not a fashion class. It’s a creativity gym a space to try things out, make small “mistakes,” explore your imagination, and discover how innovation can emerge from rethinking what you already have.
And the best part? The workshop is hosted by one of Copenhagen’s coolest circular‑fashion startups from KU Lighthouse: OUR SHIFT.
