Volunteer at Rodebutikken
“Rodebutikken” is the Faculty of Social Sciences very own volunteer-run exchange station with a focus on recycling.
At Rodebutikken, students can drop off things they no longer use and maybe find something they can use themselves. This could be study books, clothes or kitchenware, among other things. In this way, Rodebutikken can make it easy for students to recycle in their everyday lives.
Sustainability and community
Recycling is the most sustainable form of consumption, which does not require the addition of new resources, but instead gives new life to old things that are too good to throw away and can be used again.
In addition to providing students with a practical recycling solution on campus, the Rodebutikken also becomes a social space where students can meet their peers over a cup of coffee and learn about sustainability and circular economy.
